Motability at Bowker

Bowker Blackburn are pleased to be Premier Partners of the Motability scheme.

Drivers who qualify for the higher rate mobility component of the disability living allowance or the war pensioner's supplement can now choose a vehicle from the MINI range in East Lancashire.

Motability Specialist, Scott Taylor, comments "We operate at the highest level and have fully trained and accredited Motability staff. Our showroom is completely accessible to our disabled customers."

Those who qualify for Motability can transfer their allowance to lease or hire purchase a car, which can be modified to suit their needs.

The most popular option is the contract hire scheme, which includes insurance, tyre and windscreen replacement, servicing, breakdown cover and road tax.

Those who use Motability to hire a vehicle can either drive the car themselves or they can nominate up to two drivers who may be friends or relatives. Parents or carers can apply on behalf of a child aged three years and upwards.

Scott continues, "A car is about independence. Providing a MINI to our Motability customers who were possibly not aware of this marque as an option is our way of providing luxury, comfortable, enjoyable driving pleasure."
